Wap Lake Road

The Wap Lake area provides access to 150 kms of ungroomed logging roads which lead through the scenic Monashee mountains. Watch out for the moose and please maintain even speeds to save the trails. Griffin, Joss and Mt Begbie alpine areas are accessed from this area as well. Wap Lake Forest Service Road starts at the Trans-Canada highway just west of Three Valley Gap, approximately 18 km West of Revelstoke. Turn left at the top of the passing lane hill. Frequent logging activity on this road requires radio communication.

Beware of English Lake Provincial Park boundaries as the park is non-motorized, also make note that this area can only be accessed from 3 Valley Gap as the front of McPherson is strictly non-motorized. 

A guide is recommended for the high avalanche expert riding areas of Joss and Mt Begbie.
