Welcome to the heart of snowmobiling, the Revelstoke Snowmobile Club (RSC)! As a not-for-profit society in partnership with Recreation Sites and Trails BC, we take pride in maintaining 150km of trails, two staging areas, and emergency shelters on Boulder Mountain and Frisby Ridge.

Our mission? To create your best backcountry mountain experience. Your membership means more than just being a season pass – it’s your ticket to shaping the club’s direction and becoming an ambassador for the sport. Committed to environmental stewardship, education, and supporting the wider Revelstoke community, we’re not only a snowmobile club; we’re a community partner.

Let’s dive into how we fund our passion:

Daily Trail Fees

At the heart of our operations, we collect daily fees under a partnership with Rec Sites and Trails BC. These funds go into crucial aspects such as trail maintenance, utilities, facility upkeep, and grooming.

In our commitment to excellence, the RSC holds a partnership agreement overseeing two primary riding areas – Boulder and Frisby, each boasting an emergency warming shelter. To provide the best trails possible, we’re dedicated to grooming seven days a week. On our busier days, and when conditions allow, we ensure peak conditions by grooming twice daily. Our nighttime grooming allows us to set up our trails with cold temperatures and no riders, providing optimal conditions the following morning.

With a dedicated team of groomer operators, ticket booth attendants, parking lot staff, and outdoor professionals, we strive daily to maintain some of BC’s premier trails. Our fifteen staff members, both full-time and seasonal, are committed to ensuring your Boulder or Frisby adventure is nothing short of unforgettable.

Beyond providing unparalleled trails, our managed areas play a vital role in environmental protection through stewardship and education.

Membership Fees, Corporate Sponsorships and Donations

Beyond daily fees, our revenue from memberships, corporate sponsorships, donations, and merchandise sales fuels our long-term strategic planning. Your support directly contributes to the future of snowmobiling in Revelstoke.

Club events: The RSC hosts a variety of events including Family Day, the Vintage Ride, and the Poker Run. These events provide important opportunities for members and guests to engage with other riders and the RSC.

Strategic Partnerships: To provide the best trails, we’ve forged partnerships with key stakeholders and provincial ministries, including Rec Sites and Trails, Forestry, Environment, Tourism, and Economic Development. This network demands not just commitment but also the expertise of our professional management team for seamless execution.

BCSF Partnership: United with the British Columbia Snowmobile Federation (BCSF), we advocate passionately for snowmobiling in the province. Thanks to BCSF’s support, we successfully lifted the voluntary Caribou Closure on Frisby Ridge, ensuring continued access to this terrain.

Travel and Promotion: You might spot us at conferences and snowmobile shows, not just to showcase our love for Revelstoke but to shine a spotlight on Boulder and Frisby as premier sledding destinations. Advocacy meets promotion as we celebrate all that Revelstoke has to offer.

Capital Projects: In our long-term strategic planning, we allocate funds wisely – whether it’s crafting new trails, acquiring the best groomers, or enhancing our warming huts and facilities. Your support translates into tangible improvements, ensuring our snowmobiling areas remain second to none.

At the Revelstoke Snowmobile Club, it’s not just about trails. Elevate your experience by securing an RSC membership, with the opportunity to become an integral part of the community and actively influence the direction of Revelstoke’s snowmobiling landscape.
