The Revelstoke Snowmobile Club (RSC) announces that our Executive Director, Amber Lane, will be departing the RSC to take on a new and exciting role as the Executive Director of the British Columbia Snowmobile Federation (BCSF). While her departure marks the end of an incredible chapter with our organization, it also begins a promising new era of collaboration with her in her leadership role at the BCSF.

During Amber’s tenure at the RSC over the past three years, she has been instrumental in providing strategic guidance and professionalizing the administrative side of the RSC. Under her guidance, the RSC has experienced tremendous growth, operational efficiency, and member engagement. Amber’s exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and unwavering commitment have strengthened the club’s reputation both locally and provincially as a cornerstone of snowmobiling culture and recreation.

Some of Amber’s many accomplishments include:

  • Spearheading the club’s new mission statement, strategic goals and long term planning.
  • Enhancing club operations and modernizing administrative processes, making the RSC a benchmark for other recreational clubs across the province.
  • Strengthening partnerships with community stakeholders and industry organizations, fostering collaboration and shared successes.
  • Supporting and guiding the club through challenging times, always with a focus on innovation, teamwork, and sustainability.

The BCSF, as the provincial voice of organized snowmobiling in British Columbia, plays an essential role in the sport’s advocacy, development, and sustainability. With Amber at the helm, we are confident that the Federation will greatly benefit from her deep experience, strategic vision, and passion for the sport of snowmobiling. Her strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing local clubs will undoubtedly amplify the BCSF’s ability to support its member organizations and strengthen snowmobiling across the province.

The RSC and the BCSF have long shared a close and collaborative relationship, working together to advocate for our sport and ensure its bright future. With Amber’s transition, we see this partnership only growing stronger. While we will miss Amber in her capacity as our Executive Director, we are excited to continue working with her in her new role.

On behalf of the Board of Directors and the entire RSC membership, I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Amber for her invaluable contributions to the RSC. It has been an absolute privilege to have her as part of our team, and her legacy will be felt for years to come. We wish her nothing but success in her new role and look forward to working closely with her as the BCSF’s Executive Director.

Kind regards and best wishes, Amber—your RSC family is cheering you on!

Sincerely,

RSC President Todd Dumais
