Zone description
Caribou Basin is a stunning and remote riding area located about 108 km north of Revelstoke along Highway 23. Though it’s the furthest destination from town, the drive is well worth it. The front side features excellent tree riding that opens into two expansive alpine bowls. This area is best suited for experienced riders due to significant avalanche hazards and challenging terrain.

Caribou Closures
The entire mountain is closed to snowmobiling from January 1 to April 15 (inclusive) for seasonal caribou closures. More information and maps are available here or on the Wildlife & Caribou page.
