keystone

keystone

Area Type: Unmanaged

Riding: Big, open alpine terrain, lots of treed meadows and steeps

Zone Description
“Keystone is an area best suited for ex[ert riders. This isn’t to suggest that lesser skilled riders can’t go there, but they probably won’t make it far enough back to enjoy much of what the zones has to offer – be, open alpine terrain, paired unfortunately with plentiful exposure to avalanche hazard. Advanced routefinding and riding is required to make it through at least one section to the back, which also means that Keystone is best sampled on a day that is sunny, with good and stable conditions. When it all lines up, you can have one hack of a heart-pumping good time here.” – Sourced from Mountain Sledder Guidebook
