Turtle

Turtle

Area type: Unmanaged

Riding: Chutes, jumps, and big alpine terrain

Zone Description
“Turtle Mountain is a big zone, and not just by area. There is serious exposure to avalanche paths before even accessing the zone proper, and it doesn’t end there. Roly-poly hills that slope down into ever steepening tight trees up the pucker factor, and big climbs and narrow ridgelines complete the package. It can be a ton of fun there, but only when the conditions are right and you’ve got the skill to match. Turtle is not for the faint of heart – but the rewards are rich for those who have what it takes.” – Sourced from Mountain Sledder Guidebook
