Volunteer Opportunities

The Revelstoke Snowmobile Club was proudly built on volunteer efforts. The founding members had a vision for the future of this club, a place where people could come together and share their passion for snowmobiling. Although we have grown since our humble beginnings in 1968 we still require the efforts of our hardworking volunteers. If meeting like-minded people, contributing to our community and maybe getting your hands a little dirty sounds fun please consider the following volunteer opportunities and get in touch!

Firewood parties in the summer – It’s hard work heating our warming huts through the winter months and it wouldn’t be possible without your efforts. We provide a discount on your membership when you attend.
Events – These just simply would not be possible without our volunteers, we need all hands on deck to make these happen. Lunch and transportation are included!

If you have an additional event that you would like to spearhead let us know and we will see what we can do!

What it means to be a part of a club

Want to be part of our future? Consider attending a meeting and let us know what you liked, didn’t like or how we can improve the snowmobiling experience for everyone involved. Clubs are built for the members, by the members!

Collectively we strive to build a strong snowmobile community founded on respect for others and the environment.

Volunteer of the Year Award

Where would we be without our volunteers? We certainly wouldn’t be here!

This is for those who:

  • show up to lend a hand at our events
  • work tirelessly to educate people on backcountry safety
  • come out to ensure that we have enough wood to last the season at our cabins
  • or contribute their time to represent the member’s best interests

We would not be here today if it were not for YOU.

That is why we are bringing back the Volunteer of the Year award.

To recognize someone that made a significant volunteer contribution to the club (or several) fill out the Google form.

A small, confidential committee will select the Volunteer of the Year before the end of the season.
