Retain and grow access to the backcountry through donations!

This year the Club has great news, we have built a parking lot at Keystone.

Keystone is a popular riding area located about 50km up HWY 23N.

The challenge over the years at Keystone has been the lack of available parking that has limited people’s access to this riding zone.  To solve this issue the Club worked with the Ministry of Forestry (MOF) and was granted permission to remove trees to create a 10,000 square foot parking lot off of the highway, about 200m up the Forest Service Road (FSR).

Creating this parking space has been a long term goal of the members and the Club and we were able to accomplish this important milestone through membership funding, corporate sponsorship and donations.

The next stage of this project requires us to plow snow off the road and clear the parking space, and possibly groom the FSR.

The Club does not have permission from Rec Sites and Trails to charge a fee to cover our costs of clearing the snow OR groom the FSR.

Keystone Parking

We are asking for donations to keep this parking lot cleared of snow and accessible for all riders.

It costs approximately $3,600 monthly to clear the parking lot. Donate Now

We will announce through social media, and emails to our members when our donation targets have been met and when plowing will take place.

Spread the good news, and this donation page, let’s begin the new and this and exciting chapter at Keystone!

How do donations impact the club?

Donations, corporate sponsorship and membership revenue are used for capital asset purchases and advocacy for backcountry sledding areas. This funding is essential to a thriving club year after year and retaining and expanding access to the backcountry.
