Hello,

As the first snowflakes fall, many of us are dusting off our skis and tuning up our sleds, gearing up for a winter of fun

Make it a Wildlife Wise winter!

Working with the Alpine Club of Canada Columbia Mountains section, POW Gals, and regional biologists, we are excited to bring you a unique learning opportunity.

Join one of three workshops to learn about mountain caribou and wolverine, and discuss ways to ski, ride and share the snow responsibly. Caribou biologists and wolverine researchers will present and answer your questions. Choose the online workshop closest to you. Each which will focus on features and trails in the following areas, but feel free to attend any of the events, regardless of where you live if you enjoy getting outdoors in the winter:

Upper Arrow & Slocan Lakes – November 25 (If you recreate near Nakusp, New Denver and the Slocan Valley)

North Columbia – December 2 (If you recreate near Revelstoke, Golden and area

Kootenay Lake & Lower Columbia – December 9 (If you recreate near Nelson, Creston, Kaslo, Rossland, and surrounding areas

All workshops are 6:30 – 8pm PT. Please register in advance.

We hope you can make it and please spread the word to your fellow snow lovers.
