We are now in the middle of the Revelstoke Snowmobile Club Event season, with the 30th Annual Family Day having taken place on February 19, and the Annual Vintage Ride coming up on Saturday, March 5. Events have a long history at the Club, dating back to when we first established in 1968, they allow the social and inclusive aspect of snowmobiling to stay alive within the riding community.

Events previously held by the Club have varied over the years, be it at an informal race, demolition derby, club day, Miss Revelstoke Snowmobile Club pageant, poker run, or vintage ride, it brings people together for a good time in either a participant or volunteer role.

This year, the events are supported by Ski-Doo and the dealer network through the Ski-Doo Snow P.A.S.S grant program, a grant designed to support the grassroots organizations that make the sport of snowmobiling possible.

With all events last year having been canceled due to Covid 19, we’re looking forward to putting that behind us. This year we anticipate our events to be bigger and better than ever before.

Regardless of the type of sled you own, we all share a common interest in the sport, and participating in an event gives us the chance to meet people we might not meet otherwise.

The Club encourages you to join us at an upcoming event to spend time with your family or friends and learn some new safety or riding skills.

For those visiting the area for a snowmobile holiday, this is a chance to take part in the club events, learn about the club history, and talk to various club members and supporters.

Upcoming Vintage Ride and Poker Run Information:

The Annual Vintage Ride on March 5 is an opportunity to shine up those vintage sleds for a cruise to the Boulder Cabin. The Kirkup trail will be open exclusively to vintage sleds and families who can participate in a Poker Run along the way. As well as plenty of sweet prizes and giveaways, there will be live music, food, a show and shine, drag strip, oval racetrack, and snow bike exhibition from X Games Gold Medallist, Brock Hoyer.

More information including pricing and how to register is available here.

If you’re interested in helping us organize an event, learn what happens behind the scenes, or share an experience with others that you might never meet otherwise, there are plenty of ways you can still be involved.
